2018                :   Organizing committee chair  of   American Chemical Society Georgia Section  Research Symposium

American Chemical Society Georgia Local Section Research Symposium was held at Kennesaw State University  on October 27, 2018. Graduate/undergraduate students (from  Emory University, Georgia State University, Kennesaw State University, Georgia Gwinnett College) and HS students (from Grayson High School, Gwinnett School of Mathematics) presented their research.

2018                :   Organizing committee chair  of Herty Medal Undergraduate Research Symposium

Herty Medalist Undergraduate Research Symposium  was held at Georgia Gwinnett College on September 21, 2018. 44 undergraduate students from 12 institutes presented and explained  their research at poster presentation.

2018                :   Participated in expert panel on “The impact of Project SEED” at American Chemical Society presidential symposium on 50th anniversary of ACS Project SEED held at ACS Fall National Meeting, Boston.

2018                :   Awarded certificate of appreciation for outstanding dedication, loyalty and imparting knowledge to Project SEED students.

 

2017                :   Georgia Gwinnett College outstanding teaching award nominee.

2017                :   Organizing committee chair  of American Chemical Society Georgia Section Research Symposium.

American Chemical Society Georgia Local Section Research Symposium was held at Mercer University on October 17, 2017. Graduate/undergraduate students (from Georgia Institute of Technology, Emory University, Georgia State University, Kennesaw State University, Georgia Gwinnett College , Mercer University) and HS students (from George Walton Comprehensive High School Gwinnett School of Mathematics, Science, and Technology and Meadowcreek High School) presented their research.

2015               :  Awarded certificate of recognition as an ACS Chemistry Ambassador for promoting the value of chemists and chemistry to the community.

2015               :   Awarded American Chemical Society ChemLuminary Award for outstanding Project SEED and Outstanding Younger Chemists Committee to Chemical Society of Washington.
