Congratulations to GGC Chemistry major Madison Preston who received the American Chemical Society’s 2020 Undergraduate Student Award in Environmental Chemistry!

Madison conducted productive research under the supervision of Dr. Seungjin Lee, assistant professor of chemistry and biochemistry, with outcomes influential in synthesis and application of hydrogels for nutrients recycling from human urine. This is the fourth consecutive year that a GGC student has won this prestigious national award.
