The Analytical Instrumentation FLC has offered workshops to faculty and students on four major pieces of chemical instrumentation. The purpose of the workshops is to train interested faculty and students on the use, troubleshooting, and simple maintenance of major chemistry instrumentation. Each workshop is preceded by an overview of the principles behind the chemical instrument/technique, followed by a hands-on workshop. This organized format allows faculty with expertise on an instrument to train others on both the theory and practical use of each instrument in an efficient, stream-lined manner.
