Agilent 1260 Infinity HPLC
HPLC High-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) is an analytical chemistry technique used to separate, identify, and quantify components in a liquid mixture. A pressurized liquid solvent carries the sample mixture through a column, where components adsorb for different lengths of time before elution. By adjusting flow rate, pressure, and solvent mix, components will experience different flow rates through the column and the detector.
The Agilent 1260 Infinity HPLC can be used for analytical and semipreparative purifications, with a flow range up to 10ml/min. This system includes a quaternary pump for solvent delivery, autosampler, photodiode ray detector, multiple columns, and LC Chemstation software for operating the system, collecting data, and analyzing chromatograms.
