Bio | My curiosity about the world led me to degrees in Biochemistry from U. of Wisconsin and Ph.D. from Duke University. I joined the faculty at GGC in 2007 & growing this college has been an exciting opportunity. Currently, my research interests include student learning and how to integrate diversity in our course materials. I am involved in a group attempting to coordinate freshman chemistry and biology to make the courses work together to prepare our students for a successful educational experience. Teaching science is a joy! My science research interests are varied. I have worked on bacteriophages, plant hormones, yeast cell division signals, and glycoproteins. I seek collaborations with other researchers to engage GGC students in research projects. |
