Bio | Dr. Sebastien Siva became an assistant professor of information technology at Georgia Gwinnett College in the Fall of 2011 after receiving his master’s and doctoral degrees in computer science from Emory University. He received a bachelor’s of science degree in computer engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology in 1999. After working for several years as an information technology researcher at Hewlett Packard, he decided to work towards becoming a college professor. His doctoral research explored techniques for working with constraint satisfaction problems in relational algebra which resulted in conference publications at the Symposium on Applied Computing, the International Conference on Logic Programming and the International Conference on Tools with Artificial Intelligence. Siva has a broad range of academic interests including computer science education, artificial intelligence, video games and programming. |
