Bio | Elizabeth Harrison is an Assistant Professor of Biology at Georgia Gwinnett College. She holds a Ph.D in Biology from Florida International University and a B.Sc. in Biology from Howard University with emphasis on aquatic ecology and invasive species ecology. Elizabeth has been teaching biology to undergraduate students for 12 years. She teaches general biology for science majors and nonmajors. She has also been organizing and teaching study abroad biology courses in Thailand since 2017. Elizabeth strives to increase scientific literacy in her students and aims to encourage more women and minority students to enter STEM fields. |
