Bio | Dr. Brandon has been teaching at Georgia Gwinnett College since its inception in 2006. His graduate training was completed at the College of Veterinary Medicine, University of Georgia by earning Master’s and Ph.D. degrees in the areas of reproductive and molecular physiology, respectively. However, his passion is focused on the art of teaching and student learning. To that end, his teaching began immediately after his graduate studies in 2004 where he accepted a position as Assistant Professor of Biology at East Georgia College. After a short two year tenure at EGC, he accepted a professorship at Georgia Gwinnett College where he remains today as an Associate Professor of Biological Sciences. His primary teaching duties are in the area of Human Anatomy & Physiology, Human Physiology as well as Neurobiology. In addition to his teaching role, he also leads a student-based research lab the ultimate goal of which is to better understand the molecular mechanisms underlying sperm capacitation. |
