The national association of colleges and employers defines career readiness as the attainment of requisite competencies that broadly prepare college graduates for a successful transition in to the workplace. Career readiness is an important area of focus for higher education institutions to ensure that graduates are able to successfully cope with the demands presented in professional work environments.
