I am a native Michigander who earned her BA at Randolph-Macon Woman’s College in Lynchburg VA, her MS at SUNY Stony Brook, and her PhD at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. I am a Physical Chemist who specializes in materials, spectroscopy, and computational chemistry.

I joined the GGC faculty in the Fall of 2015 after teaching at Baker University, Hillsdale College, and West Point.

Current hobbies and interests include knitting, travel, and I am an avid bibliophile
