This Experiential Learning 101 workshop is an introduction to the basics of experiential learning, focusing on foundational models for this pedagogy, including David Kolb’s learning cycle and John Dewey’s “Act-Reflect-Act” approach. With a heavy emphasis on GGC-specific examples of experiential learning, the workshop will introduce the basic concept and history of experiential learning and then build a bridge to practicing this pedagogy at GGC.
