Over twenty-five years of experience working with educational technology in higher education, with a strong focus on customer service and on building relationships with faculty and staff; extensive experience providing support and training for university faculty and staff with varying levels of technological comfort and expertise; strong communication skills; high attention to detail; extensive experience working both independently and within a team-based environment to recommend and implement technology solutions for a wide range of educational needs.

Support faculty use of digital tools and instructional technologies to enhance student engagement and promote active learning. Emory University (Sep 2006 – Sep 2013)

Red Hat Certified System Administrator. Responsible for monitoring and maintaining a 256-node, 1024-core high performance computing cluster running Red Hat / CentOS on Sun hardware, in addition to several other assorted systems. Other responsibilities included user account management, disk quota management, monthly billing, and general customer support.
