{"id":506,"date":"2021-04-15T19:04:35","date_gmt":"2021-04-15T19:04:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/commons.ggc.edu\/chemistry\/?p=506"},"modified":"2021-04-15T19:04:58","modified_gmt":"2021-04-15T19:04:58","slug":"stars-2021","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/commons.ggc.edu\/chemistry\/2021\/04\/15\/stars-2021\/","title":{"rendered":"STaRS 2021"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On April 8, 2021, the GGC School of Science of Technology held its annual Science, Technology, and Research Symposium (STaRS).\u00a0<span style=\"color: #0e101a\">The purpose of this event is to promote science, math, and technology for our STEM students, and to provide opportunities to showcase the scientific research and other STEM activities that take place at GGC.\u00a0 This year, the event was all virtual and included several student research posters, interactive activities, a graduate school fair, and a T-shirt design contest.\u00a0 We are proud of the hard work by many of our Chemistry faculty and students.\u00a0 There were nine chemistry posters presented during STaRS.
