New Inductees in Gamma Sigma Epsilon Chemistry Honor Society

The Chemistry discipline welcomed six new members into the Gamma Sigma Epsilon Chemistry Honor Society at virtual induction ceremony held on April 23, 2021. The ceremony was hosted by GGC Chemistry faculty member Dr. Charmita Burch. In addition to Dr. Burch, speakers included Dr. Michelle Huang, Dr. Ajay Mallia, President Jesurebor Ivbaze, and current member Madeline Faass.

Gamma Sigma Epsilon is a national chemistry honor society founded in 1919, and a chapter was established at GGC (the Mu Zeta chapter) in 2020. This organization offers many leadership and scholarship opportunities as well as community service projects in which students can participate.
