Investigated the orientation and vibrational dynamics of CO2-reduction catalysts on model electrode surfaces using both static and time-resolved vibrational sum frequency generation spectroscopy (VSFG).

Produced metal oxide nanoparticles using laser vaporization and subsequent supersonic expansion techniques and analyzed bonding and stability of products with time-of-flight mass spectrometry combined with laser photodissociation methods.

Utilized express sequence tag sequencing (EST) to identify expressed genes in Sorghum bicolor.
