An Upgrade for the Commons!
As of last night, both the CPU power and memory on the virtual server running the Commons have been doubled, and there appears to be a noticeable improvement in responsiveness on the site this morning. Hopefully this will solve (or at least improve) the intermittent slowdowns that we’ve been seeing; only time will tell if this will help with the occasional login issues, but we can hope. 🙂

We have actually not seen (or heard of) any of the intermittent slowdowns or login issues that we were previously seeing on a semi-regular basis, so this upgrade seems to have resolved those problems. Let us know if you notice any recurring instances of those issues, however.
