Highlights of environmental chemistry research efforts at Georgia Gwinnett College
Possible careers using chemistry to study environmental processes will be presented, as well as descriptions of a suite of undergraduate research projects at GGC that focus on environmental chemistry. Specific focus will be placed on preliminary results from: (1) the passive air sampling of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) in the Atlanta metropolitan region and (2) the characterization of single marine aerosols using atomic force microscopy (AFM).
